On July 26th 2012, on the day before the London Olympics began, the Olympic torch came to my neighbourhood, just 50 metres from my house to Holland Park.
We were lucky enough to be in the Press area, so had the best view possible - I never dreamed I would be so close to the Olympic Torch Carrier.
Here are a few photos of the historic afternoon, uncharacteristically, soaring temperatures and clear blue skies shone over the whole of London.
